This is how it happened.

When Bobby lived in Tucson, he was in a band with Steve called Invisible City.

Bobby moved back to Flagstaff, and both Bobby and Steve played in a lot of other bands until…

2009. Bobby started a new band called Feel Free around the same time that Steve’s latest band, Monster Pussy, was ready to play out. So, both bands’ first show was together, in Tucson on February 14.

In May 2010, Feel Free and Monster Pussy toured to LA and San Diego together.

After that, Mullarkey from Monster Pussy started a concurrent band, Run-On Sunshine.

In December 2010, Feel Free and Run-On Sunshine toured to LA and San Diego together.

Throughout these events, the idea of a split 7-inch was always on the periphery. Records have only two sides…but there were three bands…that didn’t stop us!
